Privacy Policy

The short version
We collect the minimum we need to ship your chair and support it. We never sell your data. We use PayPal for payments and Resend for transactional email — both standard, both audited. If you want your data deleted, email team@movochair.com and we'll remove it within 30 days.
What we collect
| When you browse | IP address, browser type, pages viewed (standard server logs, kept 90 days). We use privacy-respecting analytics (no third-party trackers, no Google Analytics). |

| When you buy | Shipping name and address, billing info (handled by PayPal — we never see your full card number). |
| When you call support | Call notes and any photos/videos you send us about your chair. |
| Chair telemetry (post-purchase) | If you opt in: anonymous usage data (battery cycles, error codes) to improve the product. Opt-out at any time — we honor it on the next firmware update. |
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone, ever.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers (no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads pixel).
- We do not share your medical or accessibility details with insurers or employers.
- We do not use your data to train any AI model.
Who we share data with
- PayPal — payment processing
- Resend — sending you order confirmations and support email
- Shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, or regional equivalents) — to deliver your chair
- Vercel — hosts this website
- Law enforcement, only when compelled by valid legal process and only the specific data demanded
Each of these companies has their own privacy policy and security posture.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you have the right to:
- See what data we have about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your data (we keep order records 7 years for tax purposes, but everything else we delete)
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of any optional data collection (chair telemetry, marketing email — we don't currently send marketing, but if we ever do, it'll be opt-in)
